Following working within both the private and public health system for over 6 years i identified a gap in service provision. The need for providers within remote and regional areas was note-able following my travel around Australia. Outback Tracks was created to assist in trying to close the gap between suitable and equitable therapy services to those who experience barriers to sustainable, meaningful and holistic Occupational Therapy.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours in 2018 where i worked within regional Queensland, remote Northern Territory and South-west Western Australia. I am passionate about working with adults with both physical, neurological and cognitive difficulties in particular those with impairments in which hinder their capacity for a meaningful life. I believe therapy should be purposeful but most importantly enjoyable.
